Valrae Reynolds was the former curator of Asian Art at the Newark Museum for almost 30 years. Valrae is the only published scholar on the tradition of fabric thangka in addition to being one of the world’s leading scholars on Tibetan art and material culture. She has writing numerous books, articles, and curated hundreds of exhibitions on Tibetan culture.
